Chickens - four of them, two red, and two golden beauties...
Our neighbors are moving to Arizona and couldn't take them with them. Our kids have been begging for chickens for years (some will remember the adventure of our first set...)
These just recently started laying eggs, here are the first two they laid for us yesterday!
This is how thankful my kids are for them!
(It will be a while before they realize how much extra work they're bringing on...)

How neat! After all this ice cream I've been making, I'm kind of wishing I had my own chickens....
I guess you do need a lot of eggs for that, don't you?! ;)
I love that you have chickens! I want chickens again... If we could just keep the dogs, possums, cougars and coyote's from killing/eating them!
