Thankful Thoughts

For my parents kind and dear,
and for their wonderful example as missionaries.

For the family I was raised with...love y'all!

And for extended family now, on both sides...mine and Nels',
love you too!

For my childhood and it's influence on my life.

That I got to marry my best friend, and get to keep him for eternity,
because we were married in a temple of our God!

For temples of our God; in this one my husband and I were made an eternal family - he IS my prince!

My husband and the children we have had together;
these are the focus of my life, my favorite people on Earth!

For successful parenting ideas,
like getting kids to take notes at church - LOOK - five sets of notes!
Five kids got three scoops of ice cream that night,
(but most importantly, they all listened well!)

For the King who was born a babe
that first Christmas, and His
miraculous mission for me and all of us!

For a living prophet on Earth today!

For scripture - letters from our Heavenly Home

For books, my job, and
opportunities to learn, learn learn...

For technology, and it's accompanying blessings;
use with care!

For fabulous schools for my children,
for their amazing & dedicated teachers,
and that I get work at  one too!

For music and the beauty it adds to my life.

For food and my new relationship with it.

For our country, including the founders and all
those who did so much to help establish it,
and those who still fight to protect it.
