Utah Spring

Last week was spring break. It was easier and harder. Easier because I didn't have to work and we could sleep in a bit. We also decided not to go anywhere, or have any set plans. It was harder because I had all five kids at home. (But we did pick up a couple of extras, cousins, and that made it easier too, as they were interestingly engaged, you know how it goes. That was WAY fun.) It was also a good opportunity to follow up with that new dish schedule, and get everybody in the groove. It snowed a foot on Wednesday. But the Thanksgiving Point membership we bought--cheaper than a trip somewhere--was a great opportunity to go there three times last week. We went to the farm on Monday when it was warm, then the Dinosaur Museum on Friday. Saturday we went to my sis-in-law, Harlene's new work place - a fitness center with swimming pools, saunas, whirlpools, workout rooms, childcare center, the works! Very fun afternoon.

So spring in Utah last week (got to love the shorts!):

And this week for FHE we went to Thanksgiving Point for the Tulip Festival. It was 68 degrees and so beautiful!

So there you have it - the varying weather of a Utah spring! Fun, huh. (I love the variation - it's much better than a lot of the same thing, especially the miserable heat of some desert somewhere!)
