Anna's Prayer

Many of you know my brother-in-law, Karl Beckstrand. I want to help promote his newest endeavor. It's an incredible book, and even dedicated to my daughter and my neice! I'm not sure this will be in time for you to run out and get it for a Christmas gift, but do it anyway.

From Karl:

Anna's Prayer, my third book, is the true story of my great aunt and my great grandmother: Anna and Ida Anderson (Anna married David Soffe. Ida married Nels Peter Conrad Beckstrand, son of Karl Johan Beckstrand).

Anna and Ida lived in Sweden in the 1880s. After joining the Mormon Church, the family is persecuted. Ida and Anna travel to America, but are separated. When young Anna arrives at the train station in Salt Lake City, her aunt is not there as planned. Alone in a strange land and unable to speak English, Anna prays for help, and Heavenly Father answers her with a miracle.
